This course will focus on the discussion of the clinical presentation of attention deficit hyperactive disorder (ADHD), the process of identifying children that present with ADHD, current misconceptions that exist about the condition, but also new horizons in the management of this condition.

Objectives

At the conclusion of this course the participant will be able to:
1. Discuss the background and presentation of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD)
2. Examine the signs and symptoms that are hallmarks of the ADHD
3. Evaluate the diagnosis of ADHD in children and older adults
